Christmas Eve at Good Shepherd

Come adore the newborn Christ! We welcome you to join us at one of our three services. At every service, you can expect to hear the good news of the Word made flesh, and to be welcomed to the Lord’s Supper.

3 pm service

Our 3:00 service is planned with families with young children in mind. Children serve as worship leaders in this service, leading us in prayer and praise in language more accessible to younger worshipers. The pastor offers a children’s message. Communion is served, and all are welcome to the table.

5 pm & 10 pm services

The 5 pm service is worship full of beloved carols, communion, and candlelight. The pastor preaches a Christmas sermon, and Lord’s Supper is open to everyone. This is usually one of our larger services; please plan to arrive early!

The 10 pm service is our festival service. Our Chancel Choir ushers us into the service with triumphal joy, and we sing carols, light candles, and keep the feast in a spirit of rejoicing. We kneel at the rail for communion!

We welcome guests on Christmas Eve with special gratitude that you choose to spend this holy night at Good Shepherd. Our prayer is that every person who comes through our doors encounters the newborn Christ through worship with us.
