Gail Mercandante, Leader
Gail and her husband, ___, have been members of Good Shepherd for __ years. As our newest Stephen Minister, Gail recently attended a weeklong leadership training program in Orlando, Florida. She, along with Chris Scafidi, will take over as leaders for the program in the wake of Pastor Bean and Pat's departure. Along with Stephen Ministry, Gail is also a singer in the New Direction Band during our contemporary service. Gail's enthusiasm and passion for the ministry and for helping others makes her an ideal leader for this ministry.
Chris Scafidi, Leader
Chris has two passions in his life…his love of God and his love of sports. If not trying to keep up with the Bill Buchanan challenge, you can find him keeping up with the Patriots and Red Sox. Chris has been part of the Stephen Ministry since shortly after becoming a member of Good Shepherd three years ago. Once considered a rookie, Chris's participation in the program has lead him to becoming the ministry's newest leader. In April of this year, Chris will attend the Stephen Ministry Leader training program in St. Louis. Chris has also been appointed a member of Good Shepherd's council, and will represent the Stephen Ministry during regular council meetings.

Marilyn Reiman
Marilyn has been a member of GSLC for 14 years, and has been a Stephen Minister since the first class was commissioned on May 23, 1993! She is an active member of the Bell Choir, Chancel Choir, and Worship and Music Committee. Her beautiful trumpet can be heard at the traditional service every Sunday. When she is not working as the Accounting Assistant for the Town of Sudbury or participating in activities at Good Shepherd, Marilyn enjoys music, photography, woodworking, and games.
Jeanine Strand
Josephine Scafidi
Jo has been a member of Good Shepherd along with her husband Chris since 2001. She was commissioned to the Stephen Ministry shortly thereafter. Mother to 15-month-old Isabella, Jo can often be seen and heard dashing in and out of Sunday services. For fun, Jo can be found at Home Depot, scouring design magazines and web sites, or working on home improvement projects.
