CHRISTMAS GIFT SHOP & CRAFT FAIR
December 2, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Your Craft Fair Organizers, Michele Conway and Elke Jacobson, invite all of you to attend our Christmas Gift Shop and Craft Fair, which is going to be held on Saturday, Dec. 2nd from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The proceeds will benefit our Teens at Good Shepherd (TAGS) and will mainly go toward their trip to Houston, TX next year for the ELCA Youth Gathering
You’ll find Grandma’s Attic tables with collectibles as well as better and older items. The Books tables will include used and new books, in all kinds of genres. Everyone is looking forward to the Cheese and Baked Goods tables. The Cheese table is going to feature a 34-lb. Cabot cheddar cheese wheel, which will be cut into pre-selected or customized portions sold by weight. The Baked Goods tables will offer delicious treats, such as cake, cookies, brownies, cake loaves, pies, etc. in packaging of various sizes. We’ll have a Raffle of items donated by our vendors as well as a special Grand Prize. If you need a snack or a light lunch, please, see our own Bob Frederico in the kitchen. He will sell his awesome chili in addition to hot dogs, chips and beverages, such as coffee and water, which can be enjoyed in the Café at Good Shepherd located in Suzanne Gillam’s office.
This year, we’ve invited 18 outside vendors, who’ll have their booths in our Fellowship Hall. Four of these vendors are new to our fair, and we’re so happy that they’ll join us. They sell products such as folk art paintings, decorative art, felted purses, painted rocks, and shaker boxes. Other vendors at our Fair will offer home décor, jewelry of all kinds, mittens, spun yarn, ornaments, picture frames & mattes adorned with pressed flowers, Alpaca fleece products, pocket books made from book covers, maple products, pottery, and natural skin care products. One vendor will feature jewelry made in Kenya as well as printed fabrics. The proceeds of these sales will provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged children and families in Kenya.
You’ll find a variety of unique and interesting products for the special people in your life and, of course, also for yourself! Best of all, there’s something for everyone and just in time for Christmas! The teens at Good Shepherd are grateful for all your help!
Thank you, and we’re looking forward to welcome you at the Fair!
