ADVENT WREATH HOLDERS

A very special thank you to the Rich’s for providing us with everything needed to make our Family Advent Wreaths on November 27th.  More than 35 families and individuals participated in this annual event.  Now it’s time to return the wire frames to church, so we’ll have enough for next year too.  Thank you.

SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERING

Please continue using your same envelopes thru June. If you haven’t picked up any envelopes yet, you can get a box at Sunday School check-in. Giving Statements are issued for each envelope and can be accessed online.

A NOTE FROM THE PAGEANT DIRECTORS

Thank you to all the children, parents, teachers and volunteers who helped put the finishing touches on our Christmas Pageant which presented The Wonder associated with the birth of Jesus.

We are especially grateful to Bess Sproul, Julie Hamilton-Grant, Jennifer Lentz, Dana Gillin, Karen Morrissey, Julie Schwingbeck and Jen Fischer for coordinating all the musical aspects; and to Ned Rich for everything he does behind the scenes.

Special thanks to Steve Brevik, Elke Jacobson, and the Arnold and Schwingbeck families for coordinating the Brunch.

Thank You ! Thank you !

At the end of worship on Pageant Sunday, Francesca Bianchi invited members of the congregation to join her at the pulpit if they had ever been in a pageant directed by me.

High School students, College students and even some who had graduated came forward.  They presented me with these lovely flowers and a beautiful card filled with gifts cards that will keep me well stocked with necessities from Amazon.

My 25 years of directing Christmas Pageants here at Good Shepherd are among my most fond memories.  Thank you!

I was very surprised and quite touched.        Suzanne Gillam
