What Is a Stephen Minister?
A trained and supervised lay member of the congregation who will visit with you weekly, listen and offer distinctly
Christian comfort and support during losses associated with a variety of life changes. These might include health
problems with you or a family member, a death in the family or of a close friend, a separation or divorce, the birth of a
child, children going off to school, a loss of job, challenges growing out of an individual or family spiritual crisis,
relationship issues or problems, loneliness and the lack of fulfillment, unexplained sadness, disappointment and even
depression.
